Parish Happening's:

10th Anniversary: 1993-2003.

A Decade of Spirit, A Foundation of Faith! Anniversary Moment:

Volunteers make the world go round - and keep a parish humming. Ellen Baker has been the accountant for all ten years of our merged parish and Lucille Kotzbauer has served as sacristan for all 10 years! Elaine Dinkelaker has volunteered for the past 3 years as our hospitality coordinator, preceded by Peggy Hilvers and Barb Bono. A parish is people. These volunteers have given much in these 10 years!

Also, we'll begin getting a list of those who are planning to attend the November 7th Dinner/Dance at the Madison. Tickets will be sold for $25.00, sponsor tickets for $40.00 or a Table of 8 for $300.00. Mark those calendars for a fun event on Nov. 7th.

RCIA PROCESS: The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the process through which people become Catholic or learn more about the Catholic fiath. Our next RCIA group will be starting up beginning October 5. If you are interested in participating, or would like more information, please call Lee Allard at the parish office, or pick up a brochure at the entrances of the church. We are also looking for Sponsors - committed Catholics who will journey with our new members during the RCIA process and Core Team Members, volunteers who help coordinate different aspects of the program.

Religious Education Program: Our religious Education program will be starting up in late September. We have classes for children from preschool (age3) through 6th grade. If you would like more information or would like to register your children, please call Lee at 381-6400 or email him at lrallard@aol.com We are also looking for volunteers to help out with the program. Lee will also be available in the vestibule of the church after all masses on the weekends of Sept. 13/14 and 20/21.

Teen Ministry: We will resume our regular gatherings on Sept. 14th after the 10:30 Mass. We will meet in the Parish center on the 2nd floor. There will be time for sharing, fun and snacks will be served! All junior high and high school students are invited to join us.

20 Something/Grad Students Faith Sharing Group meets on Tuesdays. For more information, please contact Bryan Manderfield at burnhardt76@yahoo.com or call Lee at the parish office.

From the Food Pantry: We still need Monday night volunteers. Can you help? Just an hour and a half every other Monday, starting Sept. 22.Please make a commitment, you'll be glad you did! The rewards are heaven-sent! Don't forget to save those bags (both plastic and brown paper for us. This is an on-going need of the pantry. For the month of September, our request is for any type of pasta, canned or packaged. Many thanks for your continued help. Please contact Janet at 751-8771 if you would like to volunteer.
