John Pelz's Genealogy Pages |

This web-page is dedicated to my mother, Jean Pelz, and her sister -- my aunt -- Laurine Cochran.
Mom has preserved many, many priceless family photos, some of which date back over 120 years. She also performed much "leg-work" for me (concerning our south-west Ohio genealogy, specifically) while I lived in Alaska. Thanks, Mom!
Aunt Rena is the steward of the Cochran/Beedle family history in my family. Her efforts have been essential in maintaining our family history and have kept the chain unbroken. I can't thank Aunt Rena enough for her work.
This page is also dedicated to my Grandmother, Elvira (Beedle) Cochran and Mary Louise (Harvey) Beedle on my mother's side of the family. It is also dedicated to my paternal grandmother, Mary (Moss) Pelz, Aunts Carol (Pelz) Tafelski and Nancy (Pelz) Arnold, as well as my late first cousin (twice removed) cousin, Robert A. Pelz, on my father's side of the family. They all have been instrumental in maintaining the family history, and I appreciate all their efforts very much!
Also to my late father, Charles Alfred Pelz. He had an interest in history and a head for numbers, and I think that may be from whom I got my interest in history -- family and otherwise.
Many thanks to Joanne Elliot of www.designsofwonder.com for the kind use of these coat-of-arms JPEGS.
